Outpatient Mental Health OT: Applying the CB-FOR is a self-paced program for occupational therapy practitioners seeking to integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies into practice to improve client outcomes. It equips clinicians with tools to implement interventions for mental illness, insomnia, and lifestyle challenges in outpatient settings. Learning outcomes: 1. Participants will analyze and apply the background and science of CBT in OT by completing a knowledge assessment quiz, demonstrating an understanding of how CBT principles enhance occupational performance in daily activities. 2. Participants will identify key steps required to develop an outpatient mental health OT service line that support clients in achieving meaningful occupational engagement, demonstrating competency through a structured quiz activity. 3. Participants will examine initial occupational therapy evaluation, treatment, and discharge structure, applying learning in a knowledge assessment quiz to effectively assess and address occupational performance challenges related to mental health conditions. 4. Participants will compare and apply cognitive-behavioral treatment interventions by engaging in worksheet activities and knowledge quizzes, enabling them to facilitate improved occupational participation and functional independence in their clients.
